On decades, foundations and the long middle
Five houses now work together for the first time. A note on what changes, and what must never change.
This is the first year in which every company in Mrineh Group is operating at the same time. Mrineh AI and ODCorrect are live, Yamuna Resort is preparing to reopen, Ardevaé continues its patient work in the atelier, and Mrineh keeps teaching what school forgets to teach.
What changed
We stopped being a founder with several projects and became a group with shared standards. That sounds like an administrative shift. It is not. It means decisions are now written down, argued over, and owned by people who were not in the room when the companies began.
What did not
We still refuse to build anything whose purpose cannot be stated in a sentence. We still plan in decades. We still choose trust over speed when the two collide, and we accept the cost of that choice without complaint.
The long middle
Founding is the easy, visible part. The interesting work is the long middle — the years of quiet improvement after the announcement has been forgotten. That is where we intend to spend our time, and where we hope to be judged.
